Why is it important for adults to play games, even though they often think they are too old?
Board games remind us that adulthood doesn’t have to be entirely serious. They’re all about creativity, socialization and laughter. A board game is the perfect ingredient for any occasion - a quiet night at home with family or a trendy cocktail party with friends.
What are some classic Hasbro games that are adult favorites?
Taboo, Scattergories, Pictionary and Trivial Pursuit are classic Hasbro games that are still very popular today.
What are some of your newest games that are suitable for adults?

TRIVIAL PURSUIT: Digital Choice Edition
(Approximate Retail Price: $49.99; Recommended Age: 18 and up; Players: 2 to 6, or teams) Players can now build their perfect game of TRIVIAL PURSUIT with TRIVIAL PURSUIT: Digital Choice Edition, which is played with an electronic game pod pre-loaded with six 100-question categories. Players download 1,800 additional questions in a variety of categories onto the game pod at www.mytpchoice.com, allowing them to customize each game with the six categories of their choice. For a personalized twist, players can create their own categories and questions based on their lives, families, or any other topic they know all about!
HOLLYWOOD DOMINOS
(Approximate Retail Price: $34.99; Ages: Adult; Players: 2 to 8; Available in New York City, Los Angeles and Miami, and at hasbrotoyshop.com) The game of dominos gets celebrity treatment with new HOLLYWOOD DOMINOS, the gaming sensation that is sweeping Hollywood and beyond. Players start with a set number of dominos and "film a movie" by placing tiles in their lane or down the Red Carpet. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to play a wild "Stunt Double," the "Blockbuster" or the coveted "Comeback" tile. After 13 rounds of play, the winner is the player who comes in "under budget" on their movie and has the lowest score.
JENGA: Party
(Approximate Retail Price: $14.99; Recommended Age: 12 and up; Players: 2 or more; Available exclusively at K-Mart) JENGA: Party builds on the fun of the classic wooden block game, but adds an element of the game of "truth" to liven up any party. As players carefully remove blocks and stack them on top of the wooden tower, they must answer the question written on the side of the block in front of the group. Be careful, a shaky hand or hesitant answer could knock over the tower in an instant!
MOMENT OF TRUTH Game
(Approximate Retail Price: $19.99; Ages: 12 and up; Players: 1 or more) This outrageous party game puts players in the hot seat to test how much they are willing to reveal about themselves. See who would confess to spying on a neighbor, visiting a nude beach, or raiding a kid’s piggy bank! Players must be careful how they answer the questions on the cards, or they may be forced to take the lie detector test to expose the truth. To win, score the most points by answering questions honestly, or out smarting friends and the Lie Detector!
YAHTZEE: Free For All
(Approximate Retail Price: $16.99; Recommended Age: 8 and up; Players: 2 to 6) YAHTZEE: Free for All introduces a new element of suspense to the classic shaking and scoring dice game. Players collect cards with classic Yahtzee dice, but the card isn’t earned until everyone has had a turn – and another player might steal the card if they roll a grouping with higher numbers. Promising to increase the competitive stakes and fun factor, players try for a YAHTZEE in a game that is a complete free-for-all!
C.S.I DVD Game
(Approximate Retail Price: $19.99; Recommended Age: 18 and up; Players: 1 to 4) Fans of the hit CBS show C.S.I., Crime Scene Investigation, can satisfy their cravings for the fast-paced crime-solving drama with a new set of adventures presented in Hasbro’s C.S.I. DVD Game. Using video clues similar to those shown on the TV series, players help Head Investigator Gil Grissom and his team of forensic detectives crack the case. Players must successfully interpret the evidence in order to find out the murderer, the time frame the crime occurred and how the victim was murdered.
DON’T FORGET THE LYRICS Game
(Approximate Retail Price: $19.99; Recommended Age: 8 and up; Players: 2 or teams) Based on the hit TV show Don’t Forget the Lyrics with host Wayne Brady, this board game version of the game show has players competing to win "a million dollars" by remembering the lyrics to favorite songs from a variety of music categories: Pop, Country, Love Songs, Divas, Rock, R&B, 1960s, 1970s or 1980s. Three of the group members can be used as "Helpers," giving players hints to remember the lyrics.
Merv Griffin’s CROSSWORDS Board Game
(Approximate Retail Price: $15.99; Recommended Age: 12 and up; Players: 3 to 5) Finally, a get-together game for the crosswords crowd! Join friends and family in a friendly game of crosswords. There are three challenging ways to play: "Head-to-Head," "Free-For-All" and "Showtime." Take turns guessing clues in "Head-to-Head" or "Free For All" games, or try the "Showtime" game and play by the rules of Merv Griffin’s CROSSWORDS game show.
How can party hosts encourage guests to play games?
It is especially helpful for hosts to have games out and displayed as guests arrive. Having a variety of games is also helpful because it offers something for everyone. Some guests might prefer playing on a team while other guests prefer a one-on-one challenge.
Hosts can also incorporate elements of the game into the party atmosphere. With Partini for example, hosts can pass out the game’s coasters to guests as they arrive. This will immediately cause the guests to start thinking about the game and encourage them to play.

You'll need to discuss this with an actual printer. Take your game to a print shop, and ask them for a quote. Good luck!-Susie
