Cinderella's castle

Disney Scene It

If you have played any other version of Scene It, then the Disney version will be no problem to pick up. The basic goal is the same: answer questions and watch movie clips on the DVD to progress along the board to reach the end first. The only difference is that any question or clip refers to something Disney, from television or movies, to Disney history.

There are different Scene It Disney collections you can get:

  • Standard Disney Scene It
  • Deluxe Disney Scene It. This version contains more questions and a bonus DVD. Everything is packed in a collectible tin.
  • The Disney super game pack is an add-on for Scene It with tons more questions and a new DVD to play.
  • Deluxe Disney Scene It, 2nd edition. This version contains new questions and a new DVD for more recent Disney programs and movies. Also comes in a tin.

Trivial Pursuit Disney Edition

For fans of Trivial Pursuit and aficionados of Disney movies comes Trivial Pursuit Disney edition. This Disney trivia board game has over 1700 questions devoted to Disney's movies and characters as well as the animated movies of Pixar. The game contains six specialized categories:

  • Heroes and Heroines
  • Once Upon a Time
  • Monsters and Villains
  • Supporting Stars
  • Places & Props
  • The Wonderful World of Disney

Just as there are pie wedges for the regular version of Trivial Pursuit, the Disney Edition includes scoring wedges in the shape of Mickey ears. To support all ages in the family, the game has two different levels so that young children and adults can enjoy the game. As a bonus, each card is designed with a scene from a Disney or Pixar movie.

The Wonderful World of Disney Trivia Game

For an original trivia game, check out The Wonderful World of Disney Trivia Game. The game contains two sets of cards, one for adults and one for kids, which has questions totaling 2500. You also get four Mickey pieces (for moving), 20 tokens, a die, category cards, and instructions. The game is stored in a round gold tin resembling a movie reel.

There is a sequel called The Wonderful World of Disney Trivia 2, the Sequel. Gameplay is the same as the first game, but there are over 1,000 new questions. The game comes stored in a rectangular gold tin this time.

If you've exhausted all 3500 questions from both Disney trivia board games, then you can purchase an add-on pack for either Wonderful World of Disney Trivia Games. There are 800 additional questions which are geared towards children between six and nine.

Disney Pictionary DVD Game

Slightly trivia, slightly drawing, the Disney Pictionary DVD Game requires knowledge of Disney for recognition and quick-thinking. The game uses both the DVD to draw (if a game card says "DVD") and actual players. Disney Pictionary only has clues that pertain to people, places and things from Disney moves.

There are two levels. One level is for younger players and only has pictures drawn that are from the classic movies of Disney. The second level is more challenging in that it uses more recent Disney movies and Pixar movies as a source of information.

Make Your Own

Are you tired of playing the same game over and over, or have you asked all the questions included in the game? Then maybe it's time to make your own Disney trivia game. You can use the same board as any of the above games that you own and just substitute your own questions in place of the ones in the game. Prepare index cards with questions days before playing and ask anyone playing to do the same. You will have a new set of questions from a different set of eyes. It's like having a brand new game!
