High School Musical Board Game

The High School Musical board game brings the original Disney Channel High School Musical to life for 2 to 6 players, age 7 and older.

History

The High School Musical board game was based on the popular kid's movie - High School Musical – that debuted in January 2006 on the Disney Channel. The movie set a record with 7.73 million viewers the first night and 11 million viewers the following two nights. Over 160 million viewers worldwide had seen the movie by the time the sequel premiered in 2007.

The movie won many honors including:

• 2 Emmys
• Top selling CD in 2006 (the original soundtrack sold 7.9 million copies)
• A Guinness record for having 9 of its tracks make the best-selling chart.

Playing the High School Musical Board Game

The game takes about 30 minutes to play but the length can be adjusted to spend more or less time. Players choose to be one of the six characters - Gabriella, Troy, Sharpay, Ryan, Taylor or Chad. They answer trivia questions about the movie, act out a hidden talent or play Truth or Dare as part of their audition to be in the next High School Musical.

Players work their way through East High using the interactive music CD. Each player tries to collect six different cast cards as they go from room to room, answering trivia questions about the movie and completing singing and dance challenges ballet dancing and belly dancing. The action-oriented nature of the game make it a great game to play when you or your kids are bored.

Winning the Game

The winner is the first player to make his/her way around the school and collect six different cast cards for the final call back audition.
