If you love Monopoly, SpongeBob SquarePants Edition is a fun twist on the original game. Featuring Sponge Bob and all of his friends, this game allows fans to own a piece of Bikini Bottom. This edition is fun for adults and kids alike.

Game Description

This edition of Monopoly is played in a similar way to the original as well as some of the various other themed Monopoly games. Players choose a token and buy and sell 22 properties that will be familiar to any SpongeBob SquarePants fan. As you roll the dice and move around the game board, you will have opportunities to draw Treasure Chest cards (which may cost you something) and Life Preserver cards (which will help you out).

A unique feature of SpongeBob SquarePants Monopoly is the plankton coin. This coin is placed on the first property on the game board, Plankton's Lab, at the beginning of play. Every time a player rolls a one, the coin advances one move. When it is on the last property, the Krusty Krab, the game is automatically over and players figure their net worth to determine the winner. While the SpongeBob SquarePants edition can still be played in the longer, more traditional manner, this allows for a shorter game.

Expand the Krusty Krab by buying franchises or add cool, new pineapple homes to your properties. Players are paid in clams, and the player with the most at the end of the game wins. The manufacturer, Hasbro, recommends this game for two to six players, ages eight and older. Expect game play to be about one to two hours.

Overall this game has excellent animations, fabulous graphics, and good sound effects.
