With G1, I think it is better to send German sub and planes against the british BB. That way the German BB can hit the destroyer with one plane to help. This will save the figther. Germany needs to keep all its fighters desperately. The sub is not as critical.

-- Contributed by: Susie McGeeI've been playing A&A Revised non-stop for the last four months, and so I thought I'd share a few of the developments I've seen with you, Tyler.
First off, Britain should have a shell of its starting fleet after Germany's first turn (G1). Germany should attack the British Battleship (BB) in 13 with its BB and two fighters (FF) from W. Europe and Germany (or Norway if you prefer). That will kill that in one round of combat, and the British BB return fire will be absorbed by the German BB. To get the British Destroyer (DD) in 15, Germany should load one Infantry and one Tank from S.Europe onto its Transport (TR) in 14 and move to amphibiously assault Anglo-Egypt through 15. Of course, there's that DD in the way, so send an FF from the Balkans and your Bomber to eliminate the DD. If it hits back, lose the FF (You don't want to lose a full transport instead!) Then land the tank and infantry in Anglo-Egypt, where they will join an attack by the tank and infantry from Libya. Sometimes this is not enough (if the dice don't go your way) so you can risk it by only sending the fighter after the DD and sending the Bomber to assist the Anglo-Egypt attack. Counter-attack all the Russian advances on the Eastern Front except West Russia, and consolidate your forces into a E.Europe country of your choice (all your tanks should end up here). I personally like to buy an aircraft carrier to be placed in Seazone 5 to really beef up the German fleet on G1. Consider this also, because it prevents an invasion of Germany by the US or Britain for at least three turns.
As for Japan, the name of the game is getting pressure on Russia. To accomplish this, build at least one (I prefer two) industrial complexes (IC's) on the mainland on Japan's first turn (J1). The first goes in French Indochina, and the second in Kwangtung. This allows you to move your navy wherever you see fit without having to protect transports shuttling units to the mainland. Plus, it is an absolute must due to the British IC that is built in India (if the person you're playing against is competent) and the U.S. IC in Sinkiang (sometimes this occurs, sometimes not). This way, you place 6 units on the mainland at the end of every turn, which will first kill India and then kill Moscow, without ever having to involve your navy. An absolute must for Japan (regardless of whether your sub in 45 survives) is Pearl Harbour. Move the BB in 60, the Carrier and DD in 50, the submarine (if it's still alive) from 45, and the FF in Japan to attack the US navy in 52 (in the seazone around Hawaii). You can bring the Japanese Bomber if you'd like too. The FF from Japan will land on the carrier, leaving it fully loaded, and the most you'll lose from killing half the U.S. Pacific fleet is a Destroyer and maybe a fighter in the worst possible scenario.
Try these moves. I guarantee results. If you're playing against a bunch of people that have never seen them before, you'll blow them away. Let me know how it goes. Enjoy!

-- Contributed by: Susie McGeeGreat Britian will usually bring her navy together (over 2 turns)in India, (from the med and australia). Japan does not have the naval fire power in the east indies to attack this massive fleet. Is it better for Japan to buy a destroyer (or 2) in place of tanks or transports for the mainland? The main and is crucial, but so are the seas, because if Japan cannot remain a naval force in the Pacific, they are as good as done. Aswell, if the US (even if they lose their fleet in Pearl Harbour) brings destroyers around to Western America (through Panama) to go along with its battleship and transport, that puts even more strain on the Japanese navy. Although the games wont always unfold as I've described it, what Im asking is: In it's firt 2 turns should Japan focus on building their navy to reign dominant in the Pacific, or, should they focus on taking areas such as India and China?
